It took a little work and a couple of dollars to get the LandCruiser inspected and on the road. It originally failed the emissions, tire width, parking break and mud flaps. All pretty simple to address.
- Paul's Automotive rejetted the carb and gave it a tune up for the emission
- I sold the 33X12.50 Mud Terrain tires, and being that this is Utah and there is little mud, bought 33X10.50 BFG All-Terrains on 15 inch generic steel wheels
- I replaced the hardware and adjusted the parking brake
- I zip tied on some mudflaps
Here are some photos of it the first weekend it was legal, complete with bike rack. The bike serves as dual purpose: 1. fun on the trails, 2. AAA should I break down and have to get home.
